Hello!  I started Life Tools Mentoring in 2008 because I believe that all young people need mature, non-parental, adult mentoring to support healthy development of the individual, community and greater culture.

Life transitions are important times and hold tremendous opportunity for personal growth and development.  In adolescence, youth look outside of their traditional family structure for guidance and modeling as they move into the world.  It is imperative that they find something beyond what is offered in mainstream media and in their peer groups.  Life Tools Mentoring provides a cool and relevant approach to support and guidance during this transitional period.

I work in community settings: cafes, parks, and kitchen tables with young people who are thriving, struggling or just getting by.
